 Ma.K A.F.S Mk II *WIP*
First time Ma.K for me! http://www.ghostofzeon.com/wip/makafs/afs_mkii_wip.htmlSo far, I've built it up and textured the pieces to look like cast iron. Plan on weathering with the hairspray technique that's in fashion at the moment. Thoughts and suggestions please!!

Looks great. I used a similar texturing technique (thanks to Gam) using liquid glue and a tooth brush on my MG Dunbine and it looks really cool. I look forward to seeing more of this kit. These MaK kits are really cool little kits. Maybe I shouold finish my old one, hmmm.....

Wow... Ma.K. Really looking forward to this, thanks Scott. I'm not familiar with this hairspray technique, please enlighten Also, I love those clamps you're using to hold the pieces together. Would they happen to be these or these?

Looks interesting. I'm wondering how easy Luca's hairspray thing really is.

Similar but I got them in the cheap bin at the local hardware store. It's quite simple. I'll do a tutorial and post the link when it's done. Oh, and it's not Luca's idea, it's quite a common technique used amongst military modelers, it's just that Luca was one the first Mecha modelers to do it successfully with salt.

Damn man, that really looks nice! That rusty feel is really coming out nice. Can't wait to see the whole kit together. Keep it coming :)

Looks killer. I really like the weathering, well done. Should make a really nice display with the Martian theme. Very inspiring.
